During spring break, the humanities program took its students on various international study trips. I had the fortune of going to Berlin, Germany with a small team of faculty and other students from my class. While in Berlin, we visited many memorials commemorating the victims of the Holocaust including the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial. Below is my research paper reflection on that experience and the questions it raised in relation to the class’s discussion of the humanities and revolution.
